What to ask a GP in a twelve-minute appointment

Choose two or three main questions in advance and write them down in order of importance. Start with what worries you most: if time runs out, the main thing has already been covered.

At the end, check what the results mean, what to do next and when to come back. If something isn't clear, ask the doctor to explain again or to write the instructions down. That is a perfectly normal request.
